The new Badger series is appointed in an elegant more refined look, and an expanded feature set to bring you the most sophisticated and versatile Badger amplifier to date. Now ten years later, we are proud to bring to you the next evolution of the Badger. Since it’s debut, players, artists, and producers alike have made the Suhr Badger their go to amplifier for an endless variety of recording and performance applications.
The result? In the Winter of 2006, the first Badger amplifier was born and the rest is history. These amplifiers would be easy to use and offer players a vast array of classic British tones and would fit right at home in virtually any recording or live performance environment.
In 2005, we set out to design a series of portable, hand built, all-tube amplifiers. Here is the builder on the line the Suhr Badger 18 comes from:
We originally identified this amp as a 2010 model, but Suhr has kindly confirmed a build date of June 2007.

Note: The sequence of Suhr serial numbers does not match actual production dates. This single channel amp features power scaling with power, drive and gain controls, an effects loop on the back, and bass, middle and treble controls.īuilt in Lake Elsinore California during June 2007, this Suhr Badger 18 is in very clean condition and does not appear to have been roaded or used much outside a studio. The Suhr Badger 18 is a relatively small tube amplifier topping out at 18 watts and scaling down to 1 watt for tone at more manageable volumes.
